The Viking Club offers modern facilities for conventions, business meetings, business luncheons, wedding receptions, anniversaries, class and family luncheons and other occasions.
The main floor hall is 120 x 40 ft. Folding doors permit two rooms of 30 x 40 ft. and one room of 30 x 60 ft. or a combination of these.
A full-length balcony overlooks a wooded area.
An adjacent foyer of 800-sq. ft. is available for reception and registration. A large cloakroom adjoins the foyer.
Food service for up to 400 people, sit down or buffet. Swedish as well as American cuisine is featured.
Full bar service available.
A PA system with multiple microphone connections is available. The sectional stage is moveable. A lighted podium is furnished.
The hall has three cable TV outlets.
Modem hookup for remote and/or Internet connection is available.
The downstairs Viking Room is 40 x 40 ft. and accomodates 150+ people at meetings.
Food service for up to 100 people, sit down or buffet. Swedish as well as American cuisine is featured.
We also offer a grill it your self steak dinner. Call for details.
Full bar service is available.
A PA system is available for voice as well as music.
Modem hookup for remote and/or internet connection is available.
The room has access to an outside patio.
The building has an elevator for handicap access. Rest rooms are handicapped equipped. The large lighted parking area holds 300+ cars.

The Viking Club is the home of the Lodges of Thor No. 9 and Clara No. 118 of the Independent Order of Vikings. The I.O.V. was founded in 1890 in Chicago as a fraternal organization for the large Swedish community in Chicago.
Thor No. 9 was founded in 1901 as the first lodge outside of Chicago and is today one of the largest I.O.V. lodges.
Clara No. 118 was founded in 1947 and is one of two I.O.V. lodges exclusively for women of Scandinavian descent.
Both lodges support the Scandinavian heritage in the Quad Cities and invite all persons of Scandinavian heritage to become members.
